Anita Evangelista MSN FNP-BC AHN-BC
Family Nurse Practitioner

With a background that includes medical/surgical, psychiatric,
emergency department, and alternative care, Nurse Anita has worked with
patients of all ages for almost a decade. An alumnus of MSU, she is the
author of 9 books and hundreds of articles, and presently is completing
her doctorate in nursing at Duquesne University and masters in
psychology at MSU. She says, "I believe that
health care practitioners must take the time to listen to their patient's
concerns - that's a priority." Nurse Anita provides hands-on care for our
patients. In addition, she is active in supporting the education of new
health care workers, and provides on-site training for new caregivers in
various professions.
Nurse Anita collaborates with Dr. Maria Carter (D.O.), whose background
and skills complement her own.
